Melding the Greenhouse Spinners who met in Washington with the Rockport Spinners in Rockport, ME, the Midcoast Spinners now meet at member's houses and events from Waldoboro to Northport. We frequently attend Maine Spinners' Registry events all over Maine as well.
Many thanks to Sharon O. who has coordinated and hosted the Greenhouse Spinners for four years. She's headed to Nova Scotia in September--so now we'll have a place to spin up north! I'm forwarding email for her, so you can contact her here.
Please join us for any of the events on our calendar pages. If you would like to host an event we'd love to put you on our schedule. If you know of additional events to list drop Tracy a note and she'll add them.
Throughout the year we meet at least twice a month. Usually the second Monday and last Thursday we gather at a member's house from 10 a.m - ?. Each person brings a spinning wheel/spindle or knitting project and their own lunch.
